Cancelling or rescheduling an appointment
If an appointment booked for you or a loved one needs to be cancelled or postponed, please do so as soon as possible. You can cancel an appointment by phone, text message or through the Oma Kymenlaakso service.

If you will not be able to attend an appointment, cancel it as soon as possible
If an appointment booked for you or a loved one needs to be cancelled or postponed, please do so as soon as possible. This allows us to offer the appointment to another client. Please remember to also cancel an appointment if you suddenly fall ill or encounter another unexpected issue, even if the appointment is in under 24 hours.
For missed health care appointments and for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, a fee may be charged to anyone aged 18 years or over, in accordance with the Client Act.
To cancel or reschedule the appointment, contact the service the appointment is with.
Appointments, including those for imaging examinations, may be cancelled by contacting the service with which the appointment is booked. You can cancel an appointment by phone, text message or on the Oma Kymenlaakso service. It is possible to cancel and postpone some appointment types in the Oma Kymenlaakso service.
